Conventional medicine would have you believe:
- That Type II/Type 2 diabetes is not reversible-WRONG!
- That controlling your blood sugar with drugs and/or insulin will protect you from organ and nerve damage and early death-WRONG AGAIN!
Mayo found that the use of drugs to control your blood glucose levels showed no significant benefit in reducing the risk of dialysis, kidney transplant, renal death, blindness, or neuropathy. (Circ Cardiovasc Qual Outcomes 2016)
The ACCORD Study has shown that medication and insulin increase your risk of getting a heart attack or dying.
So why keep taking these meds, doing a conventional medical approach to your diabetes when the science shows it doesn’t help? Call now 763-862-7100 for a FREE consultation with Dr. Fors.

Patients Stories on Reversing Pre-diabetes or Diabetes
The truth is that if properly addressed this devastating disorder can be reversed, especially the earlier it’s caught so don’t delay! To properly treat prediabetes and type 2 diabetes you must go beyond drugs and just treating symptoms, you must go after the real underlying metabolic and dietary causes of your personal disease process. The outdated view of using carbohydrate exchanges does not work; your diet and nutritional support must be personalized for your particular situation, by a doctor who understands personalized lifestyle medicine.
For example, recently Cheryl a 55-year-old female came into me with uncontrolled diabetes, even though she was on medications. She was plagued with chronic skin infections and diabetic neuropathy. Her first lab test showed her fasting glucose to be 179 mg/dl with normal being less than 99 mg/dl! Her hemoglobin A-1 C. was a full 8.5%. Numerous nutritional and metabolic deficits were identified through further testing. Within as little as 10 days after starting her personalized program her fasting morning glucose had dropped nearly 100 points, well under the 99 mg/dl mark of normal.
More importantly her one hour post meal glucose levels, which were running way over 200 mg/dl, had dropped to below the 140 mg/dl. As my patients are taught the one-hour post meal glucose level over 140 has been shown to damage nerves and blood vessels as well as other tissues in the body. Along with these amazing changes her symptoms were gone; she was no longer plagued by skin infections, Candida, irritable bowel, numbness, tingling legs. She also reported that she now had more energy than she had a long time.
There are many others who have gone down this same healing path and so can you! Just like Roger, a 64-year-old male who just recently came to my clinic with uncontrolled diabetes, even while on medications. Two years previously he developed severe diabetic polyneuropathy symptoms with weakness in his legs not allowing him to walk over a great distance. Rogers’s first blood lab work came back with a fasting glucose 150 mg/dl and hemoglobin A-1 C. of 8.5%. Furthermore, his lab work showed his kidneys were being damaged by the uncontrolled diabetes. Roger needed to take this all very seriously and work hard on his health if he wanted to save his legs and his kidneys. With just 10 days into his personalized program he has reduced his morning fasting blood glucose down to as little as 84 mg/dl and his post meal glucose has dropped from well over 200 mg/dl down to 138 mg/dl, well within the safe zone. Roger has some ways to go to reverse the damage his diabetes has done but he is on his way if he sticks to his personalized program. *Disclaimer: Individual results may vary.
Many of my patients have achieved this through:
- Proper laboratory testing
- Utilization of post meal glucose monitoring
- Specific dietary and nutritional support personalized for them
